BOOKING, DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY

At Skin & Ink Studios, appointments are reserved especially for you.

As a small appointment-based studio, late cancellations and missed appointments can leave significant gaps that are difficult to fill at short notice.

Our booking policy helps protect this time while keeping things fair for everyone.

BOOKING DEPOSITS

A booking deposit may be required to secure your appointment.

The amount varies depending on the service and will be displayed at the time of booking.

For cosmetic tattoo appointments:

New Cosmetic Tattoo Appointments — $150 deposit
Cosmetic Tattoo Correction Appointments — $150 deposit
Colour Boost Appointments — $100 deposit
Perfecting Sessions — $50 deposit

Your booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

Your deposit is applied towards the total cost of your treatment, with the remaining balance payable on the day of your appointment.

Please note: remaining cosmetic tattoo balances are payable in cash on the day of treatment.

CHANGING YOUR APPOINTMENT

We understand that sometimes plans change.

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice.

With sufficient notice, your booking deposit can be transferred once to a new appointment.

Any further changes may require a new booking deposit.

CANCELLATIONS

If you cancel your appointment with at least 48 hours' notice, your booking deposit may be transferred once to another appointment.

If you choose not to reschedule, please contact Skin & Ink Studios regarding your booking deposit.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may result in your booking deposit being retained to cover the appointment time reserved for you.

A new deposit will be required before another appointment can be booked.

NO-SHOWS

If you do not attend your appointment and have not contacted us beforehand, your booking deposit will be forfeited.

A new booking deposit will be required to make another appointment.

Repeated no-shows may result in Skin & Ink Studios declining future bookings.

LATE ARRIVALS

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

We allow adequate time for every treatment and don't want to rush your service.

If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, significant lateness may mean your treatment needs to be shortened, modified or rescheduled if there is no longer enough time to safely complete the service.

If your appointment needs to be rescheduled due to significant lateness, this may be treated as a late cancellation and a new booking deposit may be required.

COSMETIC TATTOO APPOINTMENTS

Cosmetic tattoo appointments reserve an extended period of studio time.

Please ensure you have completed the required forms and followed your pre-care instructions before attending.

If we are unable to safely perform your treatment because required pre-care has not been followed, relevant information was not disclosed prior to the appointment, or the treatment area is unsuitable on the day, your appointment may need to be postponed.

Depending on the circumstances and the amount of notice available, a new booking deposit may be required.

ILLNESS & UNEXPECTED CIRCUMSTANCES

If you are unwell, please contact us as soon as possible rather than attending your appointment.

We understand that genuine illness, emergencies and unexpected circumstances occur and these situations will be considered reasonably on a case-by-case basis.

Please give us as much notice as possible.

IF SKIN & INK NEEDS TO RESCHEDULE

On rare occasions, Skin & Ink Studios may need to change your appointment due to illness or circumstances outside our control.

If this occurs, your booking deposit will remain fully credited to your rescheduled appointment. If a suitable alternative appointment cannot be arranged, any amount paid for the affected appointment will be refunded.

BY BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT

By paying your booking deposit and confirming your appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the Skin & Ink Studios Booking, Deposit & Cancellation Policy.
