HELLO and WELCOME to Skin & Ink Studios!
And welcome to our rebrand! Formerly The Brow Basement, now finally, Skin & Ink Studios. Why the change I hear you ask? Well look, short story is that the old name “The Brow Basement” just doesn’t serve us anymore, we are far MORE than just brows.

The long story, well I was waiting for you to ask! Since the opening of my business The Brow Basement in 2019 I always knew that I would get to a point where my little business would outgrow this name. I have always aspired to do more than just brows and cosmetic tattooing, so I became qualified in some skin treatments which just grew my passion and interest in the skin.
During the height of the pandemic and through all the lockdowns, sitting at home doing nothing just didn’t sit right with me, being unable to operate, really in any way possible due to being part of the beauty/skin/tattoo industry. So, I put that time to good use and began my studies in Dermal Science.
I then moved to a slightly bigger space and hired our beautiful therapist, Laura. What a ride that was too might i add! In and out of lock downs, over booked days playing catch up, navigating business through covid all whilst trying to be a mother and partner to say it was a challenge is an understatement! The blood sweat and tears were absolutely all worth it though!
Over the Last few years now, bit by bit, and with another move to a bigger studio space in the Bridge Mall in 2021, we have been able to introduce an absolutely beautiful cosmeceutical home care range Synergie Skin, bring in medical grade LED, a state-of-the-art skin analysis machine, Chemical Peels, Medifacials, Skin Needling and our holy grail the Hydrafacial, all to our humble clinic!
Many of our clients are shocked to learn about the options we have and we would often hear “ohhh I though you just did brows” …….and thus SKIN & INK was born!
Skin & Ink Studios is inclusive of what we do primarily as a business - Skin treatments and Cosmetic Tattooing, with a few beauty services thrown in for fun. We feel blessed to have so many loyal clients stick with us over the years, with all the highs and lows. You guys truly make it possible for us to do what we love!
